    All You Can Bee!

Written and illustrated by Shanela Parvez

    Ages: 4-6 | 48 Pages

    Publisher: Storytime LLC (2026) | ISBN: 979-8952726017

What to Expect: Bees, pollination, diversity, finding your role, being yourself.

In this fun and inspirational picture book, readers will learn all about the fascinating world of honey bees—and about the tricky task of finding your role in the world.

Sarubee is a happy bee who lives on Beebleton Lane. She knows that there are so many different ways to be a bee, and so many different roles to fill to keep the hive happy and healthy. Some bees are in charge of collecting nectar and turning it into honey. Others are specialists at making beeswax and molding it into wax cells for baby bees to sleep in. And yet others are in charge of defending the hive from attack. But what kind of bee should Sarubee be? It doesn’t take her too long to figure out: she loves flowers so much, she’s the perfect bee to be a pollinator! Sarubee may not be the fastest or strongest bee, but she helps make the flowers stay beautiful all summer!

Cheerful, observant, and brave about trying new things, Sarubee is a wonderful role model for readers as they watch her figure out what her unique talents and interests are. Told through simple prose, the story is crammed with interesting facts about bee behaviors, bee anatomy, and bee habitats, while informational pages at the back of the book encourage further learning beyond the story. Textured paint backgrounds serve as a vibrant backdrop for the digital illustrations, each of which overflows with brightly colored bees and flowers.

All You Can Bee! is perfect for readers who love bees and serves as a starting point for discussions about finding your identity.
