John and Golden are best friends, but sometimes John finds it hard to understand why Golden is the way he is. Golden doesn’t play in the park the way the other dogs play; instead, he runs in a circle, chasing his tail. Instead of eating from his food bowls on the floor, he wants to eat with a knife and fork at the table! John yells at Golden to act like a normal dog, but that makes Golden sad. It’s only when John gets teased about not eating the same foods as his classmates that he understands; our choices make us different, not weird, and being different is ok.
