About the Author
Ciara L. Hill is an internationally award-winning author and therapist who grew up in a military family and became used to moving and living in different places throughout her formative years.
Her book, Shiloh and Dande the Lion, was one of the winners of The Wishing Shelf Book Awards 2020 and was named best of the best by the Black Caucus American Library Association.
In addition, Ciara has authored several other books, including Soulful Holidays (a seasonal best-seller), Thank Fall, and Cocoa Mistletoe.
Ciara resides with her husband and their son. During her leisure time, she finds joy in unwinding on the beach, listening to old-school and R&B music, indulging in 80s and 90s movies, and cherishing cozy autumn nights. Notably, she has a strong affinity for Christmas and is known to indulge in a festive movie at any time of the year.

This looks cute!
Walking on the trails with the grandchildren is what makes autumn special. They enjoy finding treasures such as acorns, nuts and pinecones. They also enjoy the colorful leaves in all shapes and sizes. My favorite is the smell in the air.
