What to Expect: Adventure, creativity, problem-solving, interactive

What’s even better than an exciting new board game? How about a board game you get to design yourself? Build Your Own Boardgame: Adventure Game Edition walks readers through every step of creating a unique and personalized adventure board game, from choosing characters and designing the game world to creating a game board and playing pieces. Best of all, these instructions are intended to encourage creativity and flexibility, so designers can tweak and change up their games whenever things start to feel old.

Build Your Own Boardgame: Adventure Game Edition provides step-by-step instructions, meaning readers get twice the fun: first, they can spend many enjoyable hours brainstorming, designing, and creating their game, then spend many more hours playing it. The book provides color illustrations to help readers understand the design process, and the authors suggest inexpensive, easy-to-source materials for an accessible creative experience. The book also includes a bonus game, both for readers to play and to demonstrate the design process along the way.

Build Your Own Boardgame: Adventure Game Edition is fun and original, perfect for rainy days and summer vacations.
