    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

    2014 | Greenville, SC

    SadieBigMouthSADIE VS. BIG MOUTH RELEASES:
CHILDREN’S PICTURE BOOK TEACHES KIDS IMPORTANT LESSON ABOUT LIFE

The first in a series of adventures to come!

Silas Thomson, newcomer to children’s books, is attempting to bring joy and learning to children ages 2-9 in a quirky tale about a curious dog names Sadie. After Sadie is rescued from the local shelter she finds a home with the Kramer’s, a loving family of three, and that’s when life gets really interesting. Big Mouth is Sadie’s arch-nemesis. A tall, plastic, greedy fellow that lives in the kitchen and gets all the good food that Sadie wants. Join Sadie on her adventure of learning about the world, food, jealousy, fear, and most of all love.

Readers of the book have expressed great enthusiasm for the project and have already begun reviewing the work on Amazon.com among other sites.

“I just missed the books I read when I was younger. Bright pictures, easy stories to follow, and good lessons learned with a bit of humor.” – Thomson

Silas E. Thomson recently entered the world of children’s books, fueled with inspiration from his son, Aiden, and niece and nephew, Kinley and Ian. His passions include volunteering, comics/graphic novels, film, and a love of animals. With a degree in Human Services and a will to do good, Thomson expects to change the world… one book and one kid at a time.

Along for the ride with Thomson is Brittany Huskey, and enthusiastic artist who brings Sadie to life better than anyone could. Brittany Huskey, a native of Spartanburg, SC, has had a passion for art all of her life. From the very beginning, she knew she wanted to create. Brittany doodled and created her own fanciful characters and worlds all throughout her school career and eventually applied that artistic flair at Anderson University in the Graphic Design department. Children’s books and a love for animals fueled her interest in illustrating the Sadie Vs. series and she is excited to be living a dream!
