Magickeepers: The Eternal Hourglass If your young readers like magic and fantasy, or have gobbled up the whole Harry Potter series, you need to enter this giveaway. With a strong Russian heritage, author Erica Kirov brings an old-world depth to the fast paced neon-world of today’s Las Vegas. Two very different times and cultures collide in an out-of this-world experience. Swords, caviar, and Siberian tigers, meet skateboards, pizza, and hedgehogs. If you want to know more about Magickeepers: The Eternal Hourglass, you can see my full review here.

Thanks to the publisher of the Magickeepers series, Sourcebooks Jabberwocky, I have two copies of the book to give away to two individual lucky winners.

Here is what you have to do to enter (maximum entries, 3):

    • If you could have a magic power, what would you choose? Leave your answer in the comments field below.
    • An extra entry will be given for each time you twitter about the giveaway and/or blog about it. Be sure to let me know if you do so by pasting a link in a separate comment. Click here to follow me on Twitter.
    • Don’t forget to leave me your contact information with your comment — a valid e-mail address is a must. Alternatively, you can provide your e-mail address by going to our contact us page after leaving your comment. Bloggers who have their e-mail address accessible on their blog profile need only sign-in before leaving a comment.
    • The giveaway is open to U.S. addresses only (no PO Boxes please).
    • The contest will run June 9th – 14th, with the winners being drawn and announced June 15th. Winners will be picked at random using a random sequence generator and have 72hrs to claim their prize. Unclaimed prizes will be awarded to an alternate winner.
    • Comment away!

Disclaimer: Books will be shipped directly from Sourcebooks Jabberwocky, delivery of the giveaway item lies solely on the sponsor. Names, e-mail address and physical addresses of all winners will be shared with Sourcebooks Jabberwocky for the purpose of fulfillment of the giveaway.

A magic power … hmmm, the power to heal is certainly appealing; but part of me wonders about the power to communicate and understand across language barriers (with people and animals).

Thanks for a fun giveaway! This sounds like a fun book, perfect for upper elementary and early middle school kids.

I’ve always thought it would be great to be able to be invisible so that you could go, do, & listen wherever you wanted to! It’s interesting from a psychological standpoint, as many teens feel like people are always watching them as if they are on stage. Are they secure enough to disappear? I’ve mulled that around, because as much as we loved Harry’s Cloak of Invisibility, could a real teen stay under that cloak for long without a friend or their cell so they could text everyone they know?

Thanks for this great offer! [email protected]

Please enter me in the giveaway. Thanks!
