About Elizabeth Gorcey
Elizabeth Gorcey has devoted her life to the pursuit of art that intrigues her, stories that compel her, and the elevation of authentic voices that must be heard. In her personal and professional lives she has pursued a number of outlets for her boundless creative energy, focusing on those passions which best allow her to entertain, support, explore, and nourish. Acting, directing, producing, painting, working in documentary, narrative and multi-media…Gorcey has followed her instincts to become a true creative force to be reckoned with. As she simply states, “Creating is nourishment for my soul.” This genuine, creative imperative has led to Gorcey’s newest adventure—the children’s book series LIV ON LIFE told from the perspective of her own daughter, Olivia!

I have always believed in taking the earth free of trash and recycling. I grow my own flowers and veggies. I tell everyone to recycle and keep the earth clean
I encourage recycling and only use paper plates at picnics.
We recycle our papers, boxes, bottles, and other materials with our city/county biweekly. Also we save energy in the home by not using our electricity and turning off the lights when not needed.
I have a special bag on a hook in our hallway where we put all recyclable items
We turn off lights when we are not using them. We time ourselves in the shower and while brushing our teeth so that we don’t waste water.
We recycle and use as much reusable items as possible.
By recycling
We recycle, and I also have a compost bin
We use plastic bags from the grocery store in our trash cans, I use wipes containers to store my toddlers smaller toys,we open curtains to let in light to save electricity, I keep the kids from our milk jugs so I can make my son a memory game with them, I use scrap papers to write shopping lists and so much more!
Re-using items
Recycling and re using products.

I encourage being green in my household by unplugging appliances/sockets when they are not in use.
We make sure that every family member participates in recycling, composting, and tending to our organic vegetable-and-herb garden!
Composting, vermiposting, recycling
I encourage being green in my household by recycling glass and paper products.
The family separates and recycles whatever is possible. Our goal is to have less than a bag of garbage per week. We have almost achieved this goal.
We help by recycling , donating old clothing, using cloth diapers.

We recycle and repurpose or donate things we no longer need. I also walk or use public transportation whenever possible.
We encourage recycling every possible item we can. We also compost. Recycle, reuse, reduce.
Recycle everything possible, compost, bring my own bags crocheted from plastic bags to stores, and all lightbulbs changed to LEDs are some of the things I do.
Reduce, re-use and recycling, and freecycle.org.
