    Review Policy

The Children’s Book Review (TCBR) reviews published fiction and non-fiction literature for children and young adults, and other related items. We accept submissions from publishers, authors,
    illustrators, and publicists.
Submissions are evaluated based on the following particulars: literary
value, illustrative quality, and over-all presentation. Our reviews are always positive because we only appraise those books with the strongest potential impact on the reader. The editorial and reviewing staff of TCBR does not receive compensation for the reviews it provides. We pride ourselves on being thorough and honest. TCBR will openly disclose any conflicts of interest, if these should arise.

    Submission Guidelines

Please submit your non-returnable work with a cover letter
of relevant information, and include any press releases or supporting materials.
PDF files and ARCs may be submitted; however, we prefer the finished work. If you would like confirmation of the receipt of your submission, include a self-addressed, stamped postcard.

We receive a fairly large number of submissions, making it difficult to respond to each sender. We read each submission in the order that it was
received and try to respond within three months.
If you are still awaiting a response after three months have passed, you may contact us regarding your submission.

Please contact us for more information on where to send your submission: thechildrensbookreview AT gmail DOT com

Author/Illustrator Interviews & Blog Tours Policy

The TCBR team enjoys interviewing authors and illustrators. We encourage them to contact us, however, we usually only offer interviews to authors or illustrators that have been reviewed by TCBR. We also get a kick out of participating in “Blog Tours”. Please submit all queries to: thechildrensbookreview AT gmail DOT com

    Giveaway Guidelines and Policy

Giveaways are an effective way to generate additional on-line excitement
and buzz about your product. If you wish to provide books or a related product to give away, please submit the following information:

    1. Define the item you wish to giveaway
    2. How many you would like to giveaway
    3. Will it be signed by the author or illustrator
    4. Where you are willing to ship (US only, US and Canada, or international)

Please submit all queries to: thechildrensbookreview AT gmail DOT com

General Policies Regarding Entering and Winning Giveaways TCBR:

    1. Enter giveaways by completing the described mandatory conditions of entry, and commenting on each specific giveaway post.
    2. Winners will be picked at random using a random
sequence generator (your comments are numbered in the order they are received and the
numbers are like raffle tickets drawn from a hat); unless otherwise noted within the contest post.
    3. All entries are verified. You will not be eligible to win a contest
unless you complete the described mandatory initial entry. There are no
exceptions. Comments will be unpublished for not complying to the giveaway conditions.
    4. The only methods used to notify contest winners are email. If a valid e-mail is not available to us, a new winner will be selected.
    5. A winner has 72 hours from the time TCBR notifies them of their win to
respond and claim their prize. After 72 hours, TCBR will award the
      prize to another reader.
    6. TCBR is not
responsible for the actions of the sponsor. If a prize is not received
or is broken or defective, TCBR will make every effort to contact the
sponsor on the winner’s behalf, but will not be held responsible for
providing an identical or a different prize to the winner nor will TCBR be
expected to compensate the winner in any way.
    7. Entries submitted after the contest’s end time will not be counted nor
will entries from readers with shipping addresses outside of the
      specified regions.
    8. Names, e-mail addresses and physical addresses of all winners will be used by TCBR and shared with the sponsor for the purpose of fulfillment of the giveaway.

We reserve the right to remove spam, abusive (this includes foul language), and off-topic comments. We retain the discretion to determine which comments violate our
    comment policy. We
