My parents were stewards for the Buckeye Trail In Ohio for 30 years. They instilled in their 4 kds a reverence for nature. We appreciated the land for parks and nature that were set aside years ago and continue to be added to with land donations. I enjoy going to Shaker Nature Center and walking along the boardwalk with my kids and grandkids. Being around trees makes me feel rejuvenated and the phytoncides which boosts immunity and is called “forest bathing.” This story encourages kids to be out in nature.

I really love that the author is a family man! He has two daughters! His daughters expanded their families with 7 children between them! That just showed me that their father was a big presence in his family, besides writing positive, uplifting books!

I have four daughters, 15 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren and believe me, I know what the presence of good parents and the family unit means. I have also experienced the effects of good clean movies, music, and books can inspire these children to grow up into adults with good moral character! Thank you for sharing these wholesome books 📚
