As a young girl, I loved the story of how Theodore Roosevelt grew from a bookish, asthmatic child to become the energetic, enthusiastic president of the United States. As an adult I appreciate his intelligence, how much he loved his wife, his hearty embrace of life, and many other things. I see flaws and ways we differ on policy, but I love the man.
