I want to make my house and pumpkins very silly and fun , I hate the dark side of Halloween
I like my pumpkin scary, I have 4 kids so we will probably have a mixture of all of those
I like to do the scariest I can but sometimes they end up being one of the other choices. I just roll with it. Thanks

My 3-year-old son is really into scary Halloween stuff this year! Skeletons, vampires, mummies, zombies…all of it; so, we will probably decorate SCARY!

Traditional Scary
Traditional jack o lantern face on my pumpkin!
It will be mildly scary.
I try to make r pumpkins cute. Grandkids r still little and get easily scared lol
I will decorate my pumpkin smiley. I usually just carve a simple jack- o-‘lantern that has a smile with jagged teeth and a triangle shaped nose and mouth.
We’ll probably decorate more than one type! I like the scary things of Halloween, but my husband and son like the silly and cute kind!
I like to usually decorate them with pictures of cat or owls, or do a silly face since I have little ones and don’t like to put up much scary stuff.
Our pumpkins will likely be silly. Or however a five year old can make them look.
This Halloween I’m going to carve a carriage pumpkin and place cinderella inside and make a curtain for the carriage just for my 2 girls and the other pumpkin will just be carve with the Nightmare Before Christmas stencil just for me.

I read ALL THE TIME! I usually have 2 books going at once (one at home and one in the car). No joke! :/ I just love to read! And I love your page, very interesting stuff, I plan to visit here more often. As for our pumpkin. We live in Southern California where it’s pretty warm. We can’t carve our pumpkins until only a week before Halloween because of the heat (today it was 96 degrees). Otherwise the pumpkin folds in like an old man who has his dentures out. 🙂

Last year we decorated a rotten watermelon and my two 5-year-olds made it friendly. Scary would scare them!
