A Kids Book About Strength: book cover

    A Kids Book About Strength

    Written by Sam Johnson

    Illustrated by Rick DeLucco

    Ages 5+ | 66 Pages

    Publisher: A Kids Co. (2024) | ISBN-13: 9798892810623

What to Expect: Strength training, growth mindset, positive thinking, and emotional intelligence.

In this unique and motivational short book, Sam Johnson, a professional strength trainer, presents a fresh perspective that encourages readers to reframe their thoughts about strength and strength training.

It’s not just superheroes who have super strength—did you know you have your own super strengths, too? Strength is not something some people have and others do not.  It’s not just about your size and shape. Strength is something everyone has, and everyone can develop—through the body but also through character. How? Identify your innate abilities and work daily to improve them, a tiny bit at a time. It’s about knowing your goals and not giving up, even when it gets uncomfortable. Strength training is neither quick nor easy—but it is possible for everyone!

The book’s key message is that strength is not about physical appearance but personal growth, determination, and practice. The author uses simple, direct language, font emphasis, motivational messaging, and real-life examples to guide readers through considering how they can work on their strength training. Minimalist artwork and a two-tone color palette help keep readers focused on the main message.

A Kids Book About Strength is a fantastic book for shared reading and discussion about what it means to grow and be strong. It is perfect for young readers looking to boost their motivation and confidence.
