How Silver Fox and Coyote Came to Color the Butterfly is a recent release from Dr. Frances Rinaldi.

    Indie book for Kids

Dr. Rinaldi adapted this story related to her by her maternal Algonquin grandmother. This 24 page, fully illustrated book, tells the story of how a lonely coyote and a shy fox become friends, share talents, and discover new things.

“As an educator I was always looking for different ways to engage children in a learning experience that could be translated into everyday life.

This book with its wonderful illustrations demonstrates the qualities of friendship in its finest form.

While written for elementary listeners, it applies to the pre-adolescent listener as well.”

Sue Rapp * Retired Middle School Principal * Waukesha, WI
