Kira Barrett grew up on an ostrich farm in New Jersey. As a child, she would handwrite and “publish” her own books. Kira spent twelve years running a PR agency in New York before moving to historic Bucks County and switching career gears. She lives with her husband and two young sons, who were the foodie inspirations for this book. Avocado Mustache is her first book, and avocados really are her favorite food.
