Pug’s make adorable main characters in children’s books! Dogs have always played a big role in my life as well as my kids’ and grandkids’ lives. Some of the funniest memories are of my childhood cake getting her teeth into our Thanksgiving turkey and my grandkids’ dog eating one half of a birthday cake leaving us one side to put in pictures but then throw away! Not funny then, but so funny now!

Callie calico likes to wake me up very early then when she’s sure I am up she goes back to sleep.

The funniest attempt was to snatch some deviled eggs off our kitchen island–she even tried stepping up on her food dish stand to give her a boost without success!

My dog tries to find his toys and hide them under his blanket. He does this every couple of days.

My brother had a pug that he absolutely loved that died the same summer our dad did – and it would be great to gift him the plush pug if I won this prize pack!

We would shout “run kitty run” and the cat would run, and our beagle would chase him. They loved each other. The beagle would let the cat sleep on her.
