I did a book signing at an Elementary school event a few months ago and one of the kids knew the book very well. I told him that the 2nd book in the series was coming out soon and he was absolutely ecstatic to hear that as he was so eager to know what happens next in the series. It was a such a fun event and so neat to see all the kids’ reactions to the book.

Do you have any advice for new writers?
Hi Jamie,
My advice is to write as much as you can, really get into that groove, and most importantly enjoy it! And when you really find that idea or piece you want to bring to life, really work hard to bring your book to life. Surround yourself with a good team of positive people that believe in your book and can help bring your book to life (cover designers, illustrators, editors, publishers or self publishing consultants, etc.). Having a good team behind your book is so important!

If I could time travel with Tiki and choose a superpower to help others, I would choose the power of healing because when I get to King Lauia and possibly other evil people, I could heal their heart to love again and make people get along with each other.
