    What’s My Amplitude?

    Created by Teju Prasad

    Illustrated by Nadia Ronquillo

    Ages 3+ | 20 Pages

    Publisher: | ISBN-13: 979-8218033514

What to Expect: Bright illustrations, sound, and sound waves.

Today is music day! Follow the adventures of soundwaves as they work together to create a song. Some soundwaves stretch up really tall and make LOUD sounds. Others only stretch up a little bit and make soft sounds. Learn about what happens when they work together in this first introduction to amplitude for children.

Author Teju Prasad has created a fun and engaging introduction to sound waves and how they function. Readers are drawn into the world of sound using bright and eye-catching illustrations provided by Nadia Ronquillo and thick, sturdy pages perfect for young hands. Prasad introduces two types of sound waves and the instruments that produce them, allowing readers to vocalize them while reading the text. Toddlers and young children will especially enjoy the differences between making LOUD waves and soft waves!

By creating charming and relatable characters, Prasad has transformed a complicated and complex idea into a fun and entertaining read perfectly geared to toddlers. What’s my Amplitude? is a fun-to-read introduction to how soundwaves are made.
