You Were Meant For Me: Book Cover

    You Were Meant For Me

    Written by Sheri Sturniolo

    Illustrated by Hannah Pak

    Ages 0-4 | 16 Pages

    Publisher: Made For Me (2018) | ISBN-13: 9781732032200

What to expect: Birth Story; Egg, Sperm, or Embryo Donation; Rhyme

Heartfelt and delivered with lyrical, rhyming text, author Sheri Sturniolo beautifully acknowledges the difficulties some adults face when trying to grow their families.

Every child is born into this world in their own unique way. This particular story is about how one lucky baby came into the world thanks to a donor. It’s a heartwarming love story of a husband and wife, working with their doctor to find just the right pieces to complete their puzzle. Thanks to another human’s willingness to share just the right puzzle piece, a baby is born.

    “The pieces they fit.
    The pieces so sweet.
    Our dreams had come true.
    The puzzle complete.”

Filled with love, sentimentality, and the undeniable power of giving, You Were Meant For Me would make a beautiful gift for a new baby, Mother’s Day, or any time a parent wants to shower their child born from an egg, sperm, or embryo donation, with affection. A wholesome introduction to the topic, the sturdy board book edition is an excellent choice for the youngest readers who are bound to be drawn in by the sweet, colorful illustrations.
