About the Author
Angela Blair is a novelist, children’s book author, artist, and mother. As the owner of Sea Pony Books, she strives to create literary works of wonder, beauty, compassion, and love that unify our human experience. Raised in Los Angeles, she traveled the world and currently resides in Baker City, Oregon, where she enjoys meditation, reading, long nature walks with her dog, swimming, painting, music, and DJing at the local radio station. She graduated from California State University, Northridge, with a degree in creative writing and launched Sea Pony Books in 2025. A Dance of Birds: Poetry and Paper Collage is her first of many children’s books. She is inspired to collaborate with more artists to spark children’s imaginations with original art and messaging that celebrates beauty, joy, and unity.

About the Illustrator
Sherri Kay Linnemeyer was born and raised in the Black Hills of South Dakota and now lives in Baker City, Oregon. She studied sculpture, acrylic painting, and printmaking at South Dakota State University on an art scholarship. Sherri is an artist who likes to work in many different mediums, such as watercolor, acrylic, colored tissue paper, and handmade paper collages. Many of her subjects are of birds, flowers, animals, wildlife, and landscapes. Sherri states, “There have been times in my life when I wanted to be taken ‘seriously’ as a professional artist, but that self-induced pressure took the joy out of my creative side. I am happy when my work and its title make a funny story that brings smiles to other people.” Sherri is a co-coordinator and participating artist for the award-winning charity fundraiser “Little Big Show” every August in Baker City, OR, and her original artwork is on display and winning awards at many regional art shows.
