    The Children’s Book Review

Moment provides a photographic journey exploring childhood in all its forms across the globe.

From children walking to school in Odisha, India, to those standing behind barred gates in Havana, Cuba, or taking part in the March for Life Protest in Los Angeles, these photographs tell a rich and vibrant story about youth in our world today.

“Abad’s debut collection of travel photography is a love letter to youth across the globe.”

    —Editor’s Pick, BookLife (Publisher’s Weekly)

    Written by Robert Abad

    Ages 4-8 | 140 Pages

    Publisher: Robert Abad | ISBN-13: 978-0-578-77039-0

Publisher’s Synopsis: In this day and age, it’s easy for children to develop preconceived notions about the world and other people based on what they see and hear in their immediate surroundings. By showing kids the world from a unique global perspective –through candid photos of children across the “emerging” world (countries in Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America) along with traditional proverbs and notable quotes from philosophers, authors and cultural icons—MOMENT can play a role in sparking lively and enriching conversations that can help dispel many common biases and misconceptions.

This book aims to inspire and motivate the next generation of young trailblazers and problem solvers into action with the hope that they develop an appreciation for cultures, history and geography, and a desire to see the world through the eyes of others.

“In his opening statement, Abad describes the purpose of the book as being “to embolden and empower our youth to meet the many challenges they’ll face throughout their lives.” In this beautifully presented volume, this goal is most definitely realized.” — The Children’s Book Review

This would be a wonderful book to give to my son who teaches elementary grade children. They would also love a virtual visit from the author.
