Star Wars Block- Over 100 Words Every Fan Should KnowStar Wars Block: Over 100 Words Every Fan Should Know

    Written by Lucasfilm Ltd

    Illustrated by Peskimo

    Age Range: 2 and up

    Hardcover: 104 pages

Publisher: Abrams Appleseed (May 1, 2018)

    ISBN-13: 978-1419728310

What to Expect: Star Wars, Sturdy Pages

If you feel that your youngest is strong in the Force, it’s probably time to start some Jedi training. Star Wars Block: Over 100 Words Every Fan Should Know is the book you need in the playroom. Littles are introduced to characters and locations from all of the movies, through Rogue One.

This is the sixth book in the popular Block Book series published by Abrams and illustrated by Peskimo—a husband-and-wife illustration and design team from Bristol, England. Thick sturdy pages are chock full of full-color illustrations, and Peskimo have perfectly combined their own stylized look with a nostalgic Star Wars authenticity. The illustrations are bold and eye-catching. The die-cut shapes and page flaps are exciting for curios minds and busy hands. And the 100 words included are far, far from those first words found in the typical nursery book.

If you’re a Star Wars aficionado with a mini Leia or Luke in the house, we highly recommend this book for an introduction to the epic world of Star Wars. Jedi younglings will become Padawans before your eyes!

I would love to add these books to my grandchildren’s library at my house. I am always looking for more books to keep them entertained. Thanks for the chance to win
