I like spending Sundays with family. We always have a good meal and some fun time. I would like to add this book to my grandchildren’s library. They would all enjoy it. We all are cat owners.

On Sunday I like to sit with my weekly planner and consider what I want to accomplish during the week. I focus not just on tasks but on themes and on areas of my life which are meaningful and make sure I include prompts for myself so I will pay attention to them during the coming week, and I gather the items I will need, whether it is a specific greeting card or the supplies needed to write to my representatives.

One way I battle the Sunday Scaries is to spend time with our pets. Walking outside with our dogs is so centering. When I go out in a frazzled mood or am anxious, I walk aways, talking to them and watching them as they explore and follow each other, and soon I am calmer and my emotions are smoothed out.

To help banish the Sunday Scaries, I like to spend Sundays outside in the yard. It helps to relax me and helps me to forget about Monday. I want to win this because I’m a cat lover and there are many cat lovers in the family who would enjoy this book. The plush cats are so cute. They should sell them with the book.

A great way to banish the Sunday Scaries is to watch a happy movie. At our house this includes old favorites like “My Cousin Vinny”.

I like the comics in the Sunday newspaper which are always good for a belly laugh. My grandsons in San Francisco have cats and would enjoy this book with cat illustrations.

Sometimes a nap is a good way for me to battle the Sunday Scaries. When I’m anxious, I’m sometimes very tired. Getting the sleep I need can be very restorative to my sense of well-being.

I like to plan ahead for Mondays, like getting my clothes ready to wear or any work that needs to be done taken care of ahead of time, that way I can enjoy my Sundays without too much worry. I want to win this book because it sounds good and I like cats.

I try to relax on Sundays, but I also like to allot some time to get things ready for Monday morning, like clothes, lunches, and so forth. Anything I can do ahead of time to make Mondays go easier, I try to do, so I can relax on Sundays. I want to win this book because the topic sounds like a good one for both kids and adults.

A good way for me to work out the Sunday Scaries is to work in the yard. When I’m pulling weeds or picking up odd branches and sticks that are strewn around, or just raking, it helps me work out a lot of stress and anxiety.

One way I banish the Sunday Scaries is to hop onto Twitter and check in with my friends. I know that a couple of them really have a hard time on the weekends, due to health issues, very hard employment issues that cause a lot of anxiety, or some problems with child custody situations that make weekends somewhat fraught. Taking the time to focus on them–asking how they are doing, caring about the answer–puts my worries in perspective and reminds me that if I need support, I have it.
