Hi! I’m Cher. I Go Everywhere: A Mindfuless Book For Children & Their Grownups

    Written by Jane Enright

Illustrated by Monica Joy and Asha Butler

    Ages: 2-6 | 38 Pages

    Publisher: Tellwell Talent (2025) | ISBN: 978-1-77962-547-2

What to Expect: Service animals, empathy, diversity, mindfulness, playfulness.

Cher is a service dog, so it’s her job to help her people stay present and aware wherever they go, all day long. Follow Cher and her person on a day at the beach, where Cher shares her profound lessons on mindfulness. From staying true to oneself to embracing creativity, gratitude, and positivity, Cher’s teachings are as vibrant as the beach itself.

Based on the author’s years of experience as a wellness expert and educator and her love for her real-life working dog, Cher, this gentle, uplifting picture book relies on Cher’s vivacious and wise personality to draw readers into each mindfulness lesson. Each mindful quality is presented using the same pattern, starting with an “I am” statement, followed by an example from Cher’s day delivered in rhythmic rhyming text. This pattern allows readers to imagine themselves embodying that quality and invites them to search for parallels in their lives.

The artwork is characterized by rounded shapes, soft colors, and joyful expressions, making it feel reassuring. Following the main story, readers can find several mindfulness-building activities adapted for both children and adults and designed to further develop children’s sense of mindful enjoyment of life.

Sweet, instructive, and interactive, Hi! I’m Cher. I Go Everywhere is a joyful learning tool for readers ready to explore mindfulness, positivity, and self-expression.
